Why this company exists
Good law firms do not need more random marketing activity.
They need someone who can identify the business problem, decide what the marketing should do, and keep the strategy intact while the work gets written, designed, produced, launched, and improved.
Confident Reach was built for that job. We work with a small number of law firms in ongoing relationships, taking responsibility for both the thinking and the work that brings the thinking to life.
The people leading the work
Two complementary kinds of judgment.

Daniel WatlingtonFounder
Licensed attorney · Law firm marketing strategist · Creative director
Strategy that understands the firm and knows how to make the work interesting.
Daniel understands how lawyers think, how law firms make decisions, and how prospective clients choose one. He finds the business problem behind scattered or underperforming marketing, sharpens the firm’s positioning, and sets the priorities that should guide its investment.
He then leads the message and creative direction across websites, search, content, video, and campaigns. His background in law, branding, digital media, video, and animation gives him the range to move from a high-level decision to the first idea for the thing that needs to be built.
More marketing knowledge than most attorneys. More legal knowledge than most marketers.
Emmy Award-winning producer · Journalist · Executive communication coach
Communication expertise for the moments when the attorney carries the message.
Laressa works with attorneys preparing for video, interviews, presentations, media appearances, and other visible moments. She helps them organize what they want to say, sound like themselves, and deliver the message with clarity and confidence.
More than two decades as a producer and television and print journalist help her see what the attorney needs in the moment and what the finished piece needs from them. The result is stronger than a polished asset alone: the person appearing in it is ready to connect.
The marketing gets stronger when the person delivering the message does too.

Why the combination matters
The strategy and the person delivering it should support each other.
A law firm can have a smart message and still lose people when the website buries it, the video feels stiff, or the intake path creates doubt. We look at the whole experience and keep the pieces pointed at the same business goal.
Small on purpose
You hire us. You work with us.
Confident Reach is built for a handful of ongoing law firm relationships, not an agency factory model. The people who learn the firm, challenge the assumptions, and set the direction remain involved as the work gets made and launched.

A few things we believe
The short version.
Lawyers should sound like people.
A website has to do more than look expensive.
Creativity should make the business point clearer.
A polished campaign still needs a plan.
If we recommend the work, we should be able to help bring it to life.
